Welcome to the 2008 Colorado Cup Hockey Images!
Thanks to all the parents who we visited with at the tournament. Our tournament photographer team (myself (Ken Mellott) and Butch Leitz) look forward to letting you see the thousands of quality images of many tournament games.
We did not get to all of the games this year, but tried to get one game in of most teams (not all). The event lost its photographer with one week before the event -- we did the best we could in the short notice. Next year, we will attempt to get all games and all teams. Some venues required lighting (strobes) and we opted to not flash strobes in goalies faces so shots are looking out on the ice rather than into the goalie net when using strobes. We ended up with over 4,000 photos processed and posted of the games.
The images are great, the prices are very reasonable, and purchasing prints or downloads are easy...and you can enjoy the images in the galleries!
Our goal is to offer players and parents the opportunity to view all the images, to choose any images you like and for us to offer you an easy-to-use and reasonably priced purchasing experience.
Images are cropped at 5x7 so that is the best size to order usually, but you can order 4x6's or 8x10's (You should change the cropped area in the checkout cart if ordering a 4x6 or 8x10 (with the Crop Adjust Button) and I will check and adjust the crop if necessary too. You can also download an image to your computer.
The prints from the Smugmug print service are fantastic, especially the Lustre paper (like a satin finish). Options are in the checkout cart. I have a great photo printer, but I use the Smugmug print service myself because of the high quality and guaranteed customer satisfaction.
So...browse your games (you can choose your own browsing style with the pull-down style menu in the galleries), enjoy the images and memories, and select any you want and then go through the easy checkout process.
